THE ABILITY PROJECT: THE TENEMENT MUSEUM

From prototype to launch, created an experience for the Tenement Museum of New York City where, using a companion device complemented by location and touch sensor activation throughout the exhibit, accessible media launches with audio description, audio captions, and closed captions — allowing blind and low vision guests the ability to seamlessly have equal access to all attractions on the tour.

 INSPIRATION

I fundamentally believe all experiences should be equally accessible. This is one of my core tenets, and I desire to work to help make that a reality.

Thus, I jumped at the opportunity and was honored to be selected by an ITP professor along with 2 teammates to design the Garment Shop Tour to ensure accessibility for blind / low vision individuals.
